Library Data in the Cloud (NISO Virtual Conference)

Steve Tuecke will present "Institutional Repositories in the Cloud" at the NISO virtual conference. Globus will soon be offering data publication and discovery services, in addition to big data transfer and sharing capabilities. Globus data publication will offer:

• Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for publishing large research data
• Bring your own storage, or use cloud storage
• Extensible metadata
• Publication and curation workflows
• Public and restricted collections
• Rich discovery model

This presentation will give an overview and demonstration of these Globus data publication and sharing services.
