Globus is presenting a session and demo on "Managing Protected and Controlled Data with Globus" at this year' TechEX18 in Orlando.
- Tuesday, October 16
- 1:40 - 2:30 PM
- Information Security > Trust and Identity track
In this session, we will review and demonstrate these new features and discuss the technical challenges we faced and lessons learned from retrofitting a large-scale cloud service for compliance. We will also describe how new and established Globus users can take advantage of these capabilities with minimal impact to their existing research computing infrastructure, and will solicit input from attendees on future enhancements. Our demo will compare and contrast the differences between configuring/using standard Globus endpoints and endpoints designed to deal with protected data. We will also demonstrate how protected data may be securely shared among collaborators at multiple institutions. Get session details here.
