Seminar 04A - Research Data Management Using Software-as-a-Service

Tuesday, October 27, 2015 | 8:00-11:30a.m.

The rapid growth of data in research institutions is placing massive demands on campus computing centers to provide their users with scalable, robust services and network infrastructure. In this seminar, you will learn how to deliver secure, reliable services for managing and curating research data, from initial collection through publication. We will describe the components of a secure, scalable research data management solution and describe how to deploy research data management services on existing campus IT infrastructure. We will also explore integration of these services into campus storage, networks, and security systems.

Who should attend: Research computing center managers, digital curators/librarians, research system administrators, high-performance computing resource providers, network administrators, and anyone involved in the delivery of advanced computing, storage, and data publication infrastructure for non-profit research and educational institutions.
