May 10, 2015 (All day) to May 13, 2015 (All day)

The Third Annual NCSA Blue Waters Symposium will bring together leaders in petascale computational science and engineering and will be a tremendous opportunity for sharing successes and challenges in large-scale heterogeneous computing. Along with presentations from the Blue Waters science teams, the symposium will feature keynotes from innovative thinkers in science and will provide opportunities to share and discuss specific topics of interest. Steve Tuecke will be attending and will present a poster describing our work with Blue Waters. Globus is used extensively both within the NCSA facility to move data between the various Blue Waters storage systems, and by researchers at other institutions who need to move data reliably between their campus systems and Blue Waters.
