A note about versioning:
MyProxy 4.0 is an incremental update to MyProxy 3.9.
The move from 3.x to 4.x does not imply major changes.
This release includes a bug fix for the myproxy-logon -T functionality
introduced in MyProxy 3.9. MyProxy 3.9 users are encouraged to upgrade.
This release also includes a myproxy-server-setup script that automates
common myproxy-server configuration steps:
- checks for valid host credentials
- installs a default /etc/myproxy-server.config file
- installs an /etc/init.d/myproxy script
- starts the myproxy-server
- runs myproxy-test to verify correct functionality
The myproxy-admin-addservice command in this release can be used to
distribute host/service credentials via MyProxy. Please see
<http://myproxy.ncsa.uiuc.edu/fromscratch.html> for details.
We appreciate your feedback on these new features and any other aspects
