Do you take pride in knowing that you never forget to dot an "i" or cross a "t"? Then you'll feel right at home generating quotes, coordinating the customer agreement review process, and tending to our various support systems to ensure the team is always operating with current and accurate data. We have a small customer team that constantly juggles multiple priorities; your objective will be to provide them with any support necessary up to the point where a new subscription is ready for billing, and to manage the renewal process so that all customer subscriptions are current.
You will engage with IT and research computing professionals, as well as procurement and legal departments, at universities, national laboratories, federal agencies, and other non-profit research and education organizations—both in the US and abroad—where Globus is often already in use as a valuable tool for research data management.
We're looking for a motivated, energetic professional to work in a dynamic environment with lots of opportunities to broaden their experience and knowledge, while applying proven customer engagement techniques. This role is perfect for you if you have worked in sales and other customer facing functions, and have strong process management skills. Your success will be have immediate impact: reduced time to close new subscriptions, customer growth, and high subscriber retention rates—all of which help us grow the Globus community and enable more science.
Oh, and just to keep things interesting, you may also be required to assist with marketing and outreach events, such as handling logistics for conference exhibits, and with research for developing new subscriber markets.
