Globus co-founder Ian Foster will present at the "Machine Learning and Data Science in Materials Synthesis, Characterization and Modeling" symposium at this year's IMRC in Cancun. This symposium aims to facilitate and strengthen the synergistic approach to experimental and theoretical works of experts academia, national labs, and industries. Researchers will discuss the latest developments in machine learning tools and techniques to enable accelerated discovery, characterization and design of hybrid materials and novel device architectures for a range of different emerging energy applications and technologies.
The International Materials Research Congress is held annually in Cancún, México, offering a range of symposium topics of interest to the materials research community at large. It has become a popular conference destination with about 1,700 attendees from nearly 60 countries in 2017. For more information, visit the event site.
