The University of Chicago Research Computing Center (RCC) offers workshops at all levels of expertise throughout the year, for students, faculty, and non-hospital staff. As part of this series, Greg Nawrocki from Globus is presenting a free course on "Integrating Globus into your Research Data Management Workflows" on September 28 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Greg's talk will review the capabilities of Globus software-as-a-service and how it presents a secure, unified interface for data transfer and sharing at the University of Chicago Research Computing Centers.

The Operating Innovative Networks (OIN) workshop series is designed to equip university and laboratory network engineers with the knowledge and training needed to build next-gen campus networks that are optimized for data-intensive science. We collaborate closely with ESnet, Indiana University, Internet 2, and other workshop organizers to educate research computing and network professionals on running and optimizing Globus in the Science DMZ.
