Documentation
This release continues the development of documentation towards GT 4.0 Final; however, it is still incomplete (you'll notice the many "placeholders" we've left for future content). We welcome any feedback or contributions!
An important change with this release is a first attempt to create a DocBook version of the Admin Guide. It is also available as a PDF. However, the import into DocBook is not yet complete, so some information is only contained in the component-specific admin guides. Any section with the word "import" can be found in the component-specific documentation. The master list of documentation is here.

Support
Support for GT4 development releases is available through the gt4-friends mailing list. For more information, see http://www-unix.globus.org/toolkit/docs/development/3.9.5/GT4Facts/friends.html.
Testing
The following components have a "Call for Community Testing" associated with them. A "Call for Community Testing" is a mechanism to notify our users that new Globus code is available for testing in the field. Through these calls, the Globus Alliance hopes to expose its code to a wide variety of usage scenarios early in its development process. The ultimate goals are to catch bugs that have historically been found only after final releases, and to elicit feedback from the community on ways our software can be improved.
